The goal of this study is to sequence Zika virus from around the Miami area to provide estimates of timing, dynamics, and migration of this just-beginning epidemic in Florida. We are also sequencing Zika virus from elsewhere in the Americas to help understand the spread and timing of Zika virus from Africa > Asia > Oceania > South America > North America.
