资源简介:
Acute kidney injury (AKI) refers to a loss of kidney function with mixed etiology, including sepsis, ischemia, and nephrotoxicity. AKI increases the complexity and cost of care and is an independent risk factor for mortality. The specific mechanism of sepsis AKI has not yet been fully elucidated, and there is no targeted therapy for AKI. To search for differentially expressed genes in septic AKI, mRNA sequencing was performed in the renal cortex of Sprague-Dawley rats. Cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) surgery was performed to induce sepsis. For the CLP group, the cecum was ligated at half the distance between the distal pole and the base of the cecum for the induction of mid-grade sepsis. The sham-treated animals underwent the same procedures except for CLP. Kidney samples were harvested 24 h after CLP surgery. There are 4 rats in each group.
