Whole Genome Sequencing of Patients with Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

This study aims to use whole genome sequencing to analyze the genetic alterations and variations driving the tumorigenesis and progression of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The goal is to identify novel germline genetic or structural variants that may be targeted by existing or future therapies, and gain a better understanding of the disease's molecular mechanisms. As PDAC is often diagnosed at advanced stages, the lack of effective treatment options highlights the significance of this study. By providing insights into the disease's genomic landscape, this study could lead to the development of new therapies and diagnostic tools, improving patient outcomes.
