Investigating Prostate Cancer Radiobiology and the Mechanisms of Response and Resistance to Radioligand Therapy

This research used patient-derived tumour models to investigate why some prostate cancers do not respond to the targeted radioligand therapy Lutetium-177-PSMA. It aimed to identify tumour-specific factors influencing treatment effectiveness and resistance, providing insights into how to optimise this therapy and improve outcomes for patients with advanced prostate cancer.
