The project involved the creation of mutants of C. arabica L. var. Catuai from Costa Rica using chemical agents such as EMS and sodium azide. Subsequently, these mutants were exposed to rust infection, and their genomic responses were assessed at 0 hours and 24 hours post-infection, compared to non-mutant counterparts of C. arabica L. var. Catuai and CR95 variants.
