<p>3D scan of a Moon Idol from c. 800–600 BC. This Idol was found in Ödenburg/Sopron, Hungary.</p><p>Moon Idols are crescent-shaped clay objects that are decorated with different motifs. The Moon Idols were stored next to the fire place and are thought to
bring good fortune. On the other hand, they were used to hold skewers
with meat and were then placed into the fire. </p>
