To investigate the subcellular localization of maspin in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) and its functional relevance, gene expression profiles were analyzed in RERF-LC-AI and LK-2 cells overexpressing maspin. The data provides insight into the differential function of maspin in LUSC depending on its subcellular localization. Establishment of control and maspin-overexpressing cell lines using RERF-LC-AI and LK-2 cells was performed by transduction with lentiviral vectors. Total RNA from these cells were recovered using Rneasy MINI Kit. To purify the strand-specific mRNA library, the mRNA was reverse transcribed into cDNA using random primers, and then the synthesized double-strand cDNA was fragmented, and the cDNA was subsequently ligated adapters. Transcriptome sequencing in strand-specific mRNA-seq library was performed using illumine NovaSeq 6000 Sequencing System.
