Data and scripts required to run the simulations and statistical analyses of the following publication:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ecoinf.2022.101604
Brief summary:The simulation consists of abstract organisms that compete in virtual landscapes and face human threats such as direct killing, habitat loss, fragmentation and degradation, and competing invasive organisms. We analyse how four different traits of organisms (body size, maturity age, fecundity, dispersal ability) respond to the different threats through natural selection.
The model was developed in Netlogo (logotraits19.nlogo). For reproducibility's sake, simulations within netlogo are made through R scripts (Logotraits_main.R and Logotraits_interface.R). Running these scripts generates two datasets, one containing simulations with standard parameter values (SA_dataset.csv) and the other containing the results of the robustness analyses (RA_dataset.csv). These are analysed within R with the script Data_analysis.R.
Instructions:***To run the simulations***1. Either run the script Logotraits_main.R or2. double click the logotraits19.nlogo fileBoth options require R>4.0.1 and NetLogo 6.0.0> installed. The script Logotraits_interface.R is an auxilliary file only and does not need to be open, unless the user wants to change the simulation parameters.
***To repeat the statistical analyses shown in the paper***1. Run the script Data_analysis.R. Follow the instructions wihtin the script (such as making sure that SA_dataset.csv and RA_dataset.csv are in the working directory).
