Project Title: Supplementary Data and Simulation Models for: "The role of skylights in optimizing daylight and thermal comfort: A multi-objective study of classrooms in Tehran" Description:This repository contains the simulation files, validation datasets, and comparative performance results supporting the research paper cited above. These data were generated to evaluate a passive hybrid envelope strategy for educational facilities in cold semi-arid climates. Directory Structure:1. /Ashrae Case 600-Daylight Validation: Simulation files and results for the daylighting model validation against ASHRAE Standard 140-2023.2. /Ashrae Case 600-Thermal Validation: Simulation files and results for the thermal model validation against ASHRAE Standard 140-2023.3. /Charts: High-resolution versions of figures presented in the manuscript.4. /The Result of Base Case: Performance metrics and simulation output data for the prescriptive regulatory baseline model.5. /The Result of Optimal Case: Performance metrics and simulation output data for the identified Pareto-optimal design.6. /Weather Data: The EPW weather file (Tehran-Mehrabad station) used for annual climate-based simulation.7. Context Visualization.jpg: High-quality 3D visualization of the urban context modeling. Software/Tools UsedAll simulations were performed using the following environment:1. Rhinoceros 3D (Parametric modeling)2. Grasshopper (Visual programming)3. Honeybee & Ladybug Tools v1.7 (Climate-based daylight and thermal simulation)4. EnergyPlus v23.1 (Thermal engine)5.
