Dissolved nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, silicate, phosphate and ammonium) from discrete underway samples during cruise JC247 in May 2023 to the Porcupine Abyssal Plain - Sustained Observatory (PAP-SO) site

The dataset contains dissolved nutrient data (nitrate, nitrite, silicate, phosphate and ammonium) from discrete water samples collected from the underway water supply onboard RRS James Cook (JC247) in the North East Atlantic Ocean in May 2023. The samples were collected to quality check the autonomous lab-on-chip sensors (nitrate, phosphate, not part of this data set) and to complement underway pCO2 measurements. Samples were collected and analysed by scientists at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory and the National Oceanography Centre (NOC), Southampton, UK.
