Water temperature, salinity and other data from CTD profiles and discrete nutrient bottle samples from the fishing vessel Mystery Bay (cruise mb10-01) in the Chuckchi and Bering Seas for the Ecosystems and Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (EcoFOCI) Project from 2011-08-15 to 2011-09-10 (NCEI Accession 0169502)

This CTD data set, consisting of 70 casts, was collected in the Chukchi Sea ice cruise mb11-01 from the fishing vessel Mystery Bay (August 15 - September 10, 2011). The cruise was funded by DOI Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) through the NOAA National Marine Mammal Laboratory. CTD operations on this cruise were managed by Ecosystems and Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (EcoFOCI) personnel from NOAA/PMEL as part of the Department of Interior (DOI)/BOEM Arctic Whale Ecology Study (ARCWEST) and Chukchi Sea Acoustics, Oceanography, and Zooplankton (CHAOZ) programs. Profile data from CTD instruments were processed at NOAA/PMEL/EcoFOCI using standard techniques. Data from bottle samples include phosphate, silicate, nitrate, nitrite, ammonium, and chlorophyll. Chlorophyll data are submitted separately through NOAA/AFSC. Data are on a 1-meter vertical grid and combine both averaged CTD profile data and bottle samples, where missing data are listed as 1e+35.
