Leading podcast platforms in the U.S. 2020, by age group

According to a study from 2020 on podcast platforms in the United States, Spotify was the most popular podcast platform among the younger generation with 44 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 using the streaming service, followed by Apple Podcasts with 27 percent. In the age group of 35 to 54, 34 percent of respondents stated that they were using Spotify while another 32 percent said that they consumed podcasts on Apple Podcasts.
