NRS-2638 | Abstracts of quarterly and annual returns of public and denominational schools

Both returns are printed forms completed and sent to the Council by District Inspectors. The quarterly returns contain the following details for each school district: names of public and denominational schools and, for each school within the district, the number of girls and boys on roll, number of children of Church of England, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian and other religions, average daily attendance of boys and girls, amount of school fees paid and amount paid for books. The annual returns for each school district include the names of public and denominational schools, teachers' names, number of pupils of each sex on rolls during last quarter, school fees, value of property belonging to the Council comprising grounds, school buildings, furniture and books and teachers' residence.
