收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains source data obtained during research under the project UMO-2021/43/D/ST8/01491 "Research on the influence of the polymer composites processing conditions on the stabilizing effect of functional plant-derived fillers", relating to research results described in the publication "Correlation between rotational molding process temperature and degradation changes of polyethylene and composites containing coffee spent grounds used as an active filler", DOI: 10.1016/j.susmat.2025.e01652 The research work carried out involved measurements using the following methods:- Particle size analysis using laser analyzer | abbreviation: PSD- Visible light microscopy | abbreviation: LM- Internal mold air temperature measurement: PIAT- CIE Lab color analysis | abbreviation: COLOR- oxygen induction time raw data from differential scanning calorimetry | abbreviation: OIT- TGA thermogravimetry | abbreviation: TGA- Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy | abbreviation: FTIR_spectra- Rotomolded parts photography | abbreviation: PHOTO- Digital microscopy | abbreviation: DM- Rotomolded parts thickness measurements | abbreviation: WT- Static tensile test results | abbreviation: TT In this study, 5 wt% coffee spent grounds (CSG) were incorporated into low-density polyethylene (PE), and the resulting blends were processed by rotational molding (RM) using the dry-blending method. Tests were conducted by processing polymer/filler powders (PWD) to obtain rotomolded (RM) products at batch weights of 150 g and 200 g and process temperatures of 200, 225, and 250°C. Additionally, the rotomolded parts were subjected to additional UV exposure for 100 hours (UV100h), exposing the outer (OUT) or inner (IN) wall of the product, respectively. File markings/name consist of: measurement type(PSD/LM/PIAT/COLOR/OIT/TGA/FTIR/PHOTO/DM/WT/TT)_material name(PE/CSG/ALL)-material form(PWD/RM)_sample mass-processing temperature_treatment history(without aging BA/external wall aging AA-UV100h-OUT/internal wall aging AA-UV100h-IN_measurement place (internal IN or external OUT)_sample repetition number
