Data Description Overview Supplementary data for the manuscript contains three .csv files, which contain information on the DNA extractions, DNA fragmentations, and RNA extractions undertaken by the Tree of Life until 01/06/2024. File Descriptions dna_extractions_dataset.csv: Contains data on DNA extractions, including sample identifiers and metadata, extraction methods, yields, and extraction status. dna_fragmentations_dataset.csv: Contains data on DNA fragmentations, including sample identifiers and metadata, links to the extractions, submission protocols used, and fragmentation statuses. rna_extractions_dataset.csv: Contains data on RNA fragmentations, including sample identifiers and metadata, extraction methods and quality metrics. Usage This dataset supports reproducibility and transparency in the Tree of Life extraction and fragmentation protocols.
