Rice microbiome and disease state

In this study we have profiled and compared the microbiome of rice leaf, root and rhizosphere between foliar symptomatic plants and healthy ones, in order to detect taxa correlated with either a diseased or healthy state of the plant. We produced 16S (V3V4) and 18S (V4) sequences of amplicon barcode using Illumina sequencing (2x 300 bp, Paired-end), for 10 healthy and 10 diseased plants, in two locations in rice fields in Cambodia (Preak Sdei and Rovieng).
