Two-position zone dampers with pressure-controlled air handling units: simulation code, results and design-derived data (supplementary record, IBPC 2027)
收藏资源简介:
Supplementary record of the paper Two-Position Zone Dampers with Pressure-Controlled Air Handling Units: A Case Study of Simplified Demand-Based Ventilation at a University Campus (International Building Physics Conference IBPC 2027). The study compares CO2-controlled two-position zone dampers behind fans that hold duct static pressure with pressure-independent VAV terminals and constant-air-volume ventilation on three systems of a tendered university renovation in Tallinn, Estonia, using a hydraulic–CO2 co-simulation that solves the fan curves against the duct network every 30 s. The archive u03_ibpc2027_supplementary.zip contains: report/: technical report and supporting documents (methods, extra runs, life-cycle cost, solver validation, bench protocols, annual verification, data quality). results/: model v2.1 result sets (one row per simulated cell, summary tables, per-cell records), life-cycle cost tables and the numbers derived for the paper. bench/: laboratory-bench identification data, pre-registered predictions and scores. code/: the study repository (simulator and scripts) at the commit named in README.md. data_u03/: input tables derived by the authors from the tendered design (room table, system specifications, AHU internals); design documents themselves are not included. ai_work_log/: the repository history and the review log of the technical report. MANIFEST.txt: every file with size and SHA-256. Licences: text, documentation and data CC BY 4.0; code MIT (both licence texts are in the archive). Use of generative AI: a generative AI system (Claude, Anthropic) wrote the simulation and analysis code, ran the simulations, produced the figures and drafted the text under the authors' direction; the authors designed the study, made the modelling choices, interpreted the results and take responsibility for the content.
