Photo log data from the NPS Enjoy the View program, February 2026

This data package contains photographic data collected during visual resources inventories conducted at National Park Service (NPS) units as part of the NPS Enjoy the View program. The program collects geospatially referenced photographs to document existing visual conditions, support visual resource management, and provide a visual record of viewpoints and surrounding landscapes.

The photo data package includes logs and metadata associated with digital images collected during visual resource inventories conducted between 2013-11-13 and 2026-02-06, using standardized field methods. The data describe photographic attributes such as photo attribution, sequencing, panorama and stitching information, and other image-specific notes, and are intended to be used in conjunction with related geographic location data and view-level inventory datasets available to internal NPS staff.

Data from the Enjoy the View program support park planning, resource condition assessments, and visual resource management. The package is updated periodically and may not include the most recent inventory results.
