Europe's Waterbase - Rivers

Waterbase is the generic name given to the EEA's databases on the status and
quality of Europe's rivers, lakes, groundwater bodies and transitional, coastal
and marine waters, and on the quantity of Europe's water resources. Waterbase -
Rivers contains pollution and station information for rivers in Europe.

Water quality parameters measured include:

BOD5, BOD7, COD, CODCr, Dissolved Oxygen: mg/l O2
Chlorophyll a: ?g/l
Kjeldahl Nitrogen, Nitrate, Nitrite, Non-ionised Ammonia, Organic Nitrogen,
Total Ammonium, Total Inorganic Nitrogen, Total Oxidised Nitrogen, Total
Nitrogen: mg/l N
Orthophosphate, Total Phosphorus: mg/l P
Oxygen Saturation: %
pH: pH
Total Organic Carbon: mg/l C

The Pressure table contains proxy pressure data on the upstream catchments of
Eurowaternet river monitoring stations. Each station has been assigned a unique
Waterbase identifier (WaterbaseID) which can be used to link the Pressure data
with their respective Stations and Quality data.

The QualityWater table contains data on nutrients and organic matter in water
measured at Eurowaternet river monitoring stations. Each station has been
assigned a unique Waterbase identifier (WaterbaseID) which can be used to link
the QualityWater data with their respective Stations and Pressure data.

The Stations table contains the physical characteristics of the Eurowaternet
river monitoring stations. Each station has been assigned a unique Waterbase
identifier (WaterbaseID) which can be used to link the Stations with their
respective Quality and Pressure data.
