资源简介:
Environics Environmental Monitor (EEM) is a public opinion survey of Canadian citizens. The Environmental Monitor is a syndicated quarterly report of Canadian public attitudes toward environmental and natural resource issues. Each quarterly report is based on the results of 1,500 telephone interviews with a representative sample of adult Canadians. Currently, data are available through the Canadian Opinion Research Archive from 1987. EEM is produced by Environics Research Group Limited, Toronto, Ontario. The 1997-4/1998-1 Environmental Monitor Report is based on the results of two separate telephone surveys. The first survey was carried out by telephone with a sample of 1,503 adults Canadians between January 22 and February 4, 1998. The report also contains data from a second telephone survey administered to 1,501 Canadians between March 10 and April 7, 1998. A total of 59 environment-related questions were posed covering such topics as top environmental issues, environmental governance, perceptions of industry and industry efforts and consumer action on the environment, as well as specific air, energy, agriculture and forestry issues.
