These data represent stopover areas within the Sublette herd migration corridor. Stopovers are places big game animals spend approximately 95% of their time to rest and forage during their migration travels. Habitat quality is likely higher in stopover areas. These habitats have been designated as 'Vital' to big game in the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission's Mitigation Policy.
