Transcriptome Sequencing of Optic Nerve in a Rat Model of Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder-Related Optic Neuritis (NMOSD-ON)

This study established a rat model of NMOSD-ON by injecting patient-derived AQP4+ serum into the optic nerve sheath of rats. Optic nerve tissues were collected at 24 hours and 7 days post-modeling, along with a blank control group, for transcriptome sequencing. The aim was to explore gene expression changes during the early and peak phases of NMOSD-ON pathogenesis, thereby identifying potential disease mechanisms.本研究通过向大鼠视神经鞘内注射患者来源的水通道蛋白4（Aquaporin 4）阳性血清，构建了视神经脊髓炎谱系疾病相关性视神经病变（NMOSD-ON）大鼠模型。分别于造模后24小时及7天采集视神经组织，同步设置空白对照组并收集其对应样本，开展转录组测序。本研究旨在探究NMOSD-ON发病早期与峰值阶段的基因表达变化，进而明确潜在的发病机制。
