Bacillus species were considered as one of the promising biocontrol agents due to their potential to have antagonistic activities against plant pathogenic fungi. However, there is little information on comparing genome sequences. Bacillus strain was isolated from cotton waste for mushroom cultivation. The whole genome was completely sequenced by Pacific Biosciences to understand functional genes which are responsible for biosynthesis of biocontrol metabolites.
