USGS Water Measurement Locations - Northeast River Basin (2002)

This dataset contains all available United States Geological Survey Water Measurement site locations as of March 14, 2002. The data is intended to be used as a guide to available surface water flow measurement sites, ground water measurement sites, and water quality monitoring sites within the entire Northeast Wyoming River Basins Planning Area. For site specific data, one can use this dataset to obtain the station number/name so that the data necessary for analyses can be obtained from the USGS. A total of 2527 measurement sites of all types are available. Streamflow is measured at 73 sites. Measurements are taken at 2428 wells and 14 springs. Water quality is monitored at 542 sites (36 streams, 21 lakes/reservoirs, 476 wells, and 9 springs).
