Overall, 102 first-year medical students participated in the TBL session over a period of 2 consecutive years. In 2021, the averages for the iRAT and tRAT were 58.8% and 85.9% respectively. In 2022, the averages were 59.1% and 87.8% for the iRAT and tRAT, respectively. Student responses to post-session survey Likert scale questions assessing student perceptions of engagement were positive.
