We developed a taxonomy of frequently posted content during wildfires in Canada containing thirteen categories and introduced, WildFireCan-MMD, the first
Canadian-specific multimodal dataset containing 4,688
user-generated posts from X, posted during wildfires
in 2022, 2023 and 2024, and labeled based on the
developed taxonomy.
The singluar data file (WildFireCan-MMD_public) contains two columns where one is the tweet ID and the other is the assigned label.
