Dataset describing Odontarrhena chalcidica biochar for Ni adsorption

This dataset describes the production of biochar from the nickel (Ni) hyperaccumulator plant Odontarrhena chalcidica (synonymous Alyssum murale) and measurement of its Ni-adsorption ability (Smoak and Schnoor). These experiments were designed to understand the Ni capacity of O. chalcidica and the capabilities of biochar derived from O. chalcidica for Ni adsorption. The data from this experiment could inform future experimental design and be reused by other researchers for further analysis.
