Applications of portable and comprehensive gas chromatography–mass spectrometry for the analysis of fentanyl

This thesis examines the application of portable and comprehensive gas chromatography–mass spectrometry techniques for the analysis of synthetic opioids in a forensic context. It identifies challenges presented by portable analysis and determines potential chemical signatures relating to pharmaceutical preparations.
