Compositional Variability of Late Variscan Intrusive Rocks: A Whole-Rock Dataset from the Serre Batholith (Calabria, Italy)
收藏资源简介:
We present a new whole-rock geochemical dataset for intrusive rocks of the late Variscan Serre batholith (Calabria, southern Italy), representing a well-exposed section of tilted continental crust emplaced between ~305 and 292 Ma. The dataset comprises major, trace, and rare earth element (REE) analyses for 74 samples collected across the main plutonic units, spanning from deeper-level tonalites and quartz diorites to shallower peraluminous granites, as well as leucosomes from associated migmatitic metasediments. Geochemical data were obtained using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). New analyses (.xlsx file) are integrated with previously published data into a harmonized and reusable dataset, including georeferenced sample locations (.kmz file) and main lithotypes.
