Replication data for: Diversity of Halimedaceae (Bryopsidales, Chlorophyta) in Mexico

The data presented support the results of the study focused on the diversity and distribution of species in the coastal states of Mexico. A file containing species records by state is included, which allowed for the quantification of diversity of Halimedaceae in Mexico. Additionally, a text file containing the sequences used for phylogenetic analysis is presented. These sequences were aligned using the BioEdit program and subsequently analyzed in the TOPALi software for the reconstruction of the phylogenetic tree. Data collection and processing were carried out between January and November 2025. The analysis of these data allowed for the integration of taxonomic and phylogenetic information for the studied species. (2025-01-01)
