M6AREG

Herein, a new database named 'M6AREG' is developed to (i) systematically cover, for the first time, data on the effects of m6A-centered regulation on both disease development and drug response, (ii) explicitly describe the molecular mechanism underlying each type of regulation and (iii) fully reference the collected data by cross-linking to existing databases. Since the accumulated data are valuable for researchers in diverse disciplines (such as pathology and pathophysiology, clinical laboratory diagnostics, medicinal biochemistry and drug design), M6AREG is expected to have many implications for the future conduct of m6A-based regulation studies.本研究构建了一款命名为M6AREG的新型数据库，其开发目标包含三点：(i) 首次系统性覆盖以N6-甲基腺嘌呤（m6A）为核心的调控对疾病发生发展与药物响应的影响相关数据；(ii) 明确阐释各类调控背后的分子机制；(iii) 通过与现有数据库交叉关联，为所收录的全部数据提供完整的参考文献支撑。鉴于所积累的数据对病理学、病理生理学、临床实验室诊断、药物生物化学及药物设计等多个领域的研究人员均具有重要价值，M6AREG有望为未来开展基于m6A的调控研究提供诸多有益启示。
