To investigate if a maximally physiologic exercise-similar pattern of heart rate acceleration delivered by a pacing approach can beneficially impact downstream cellular adaptations, thereby acting as a trigger for desired molecular remodeling that underlies cardiac stress resistance. Total RNA was sequenced after isolation from ventriclar tissue from 8-10 week old male C57-Bl6 mice (3 per group, 2 groups) after undergoing 8 days of atrial pacing vs. sham intervention.
