Jack Beardsley mealybug (Pseudococcus jackbeardsleyi Gimpel and Miller) as one of the hazardous invasive pests, it could cause enormous losses to the fruit and vegetable industries worldwide. In this study, we assembled and annotated P. jackbeardsleyi genome at the chromosome level, which had a genome size of 334.818 Mb and achieved a completeness level of 95.7%, 10,908 genes were annotated totally.
