资源简介:

This study was conducted by the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) among Senior Executive Service employees. Excluded by law are those in the Foreign Service, FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, and certain intelligence agencies; administrative law judges; and positions requiring Senate confirmation. The data contain the results of the survey, which provides information about the effectiveness of Civil Service Record Act protections against improper political interference in the Senior Executive Service (SES); fairness and equity in the performance appraisal and performance award systems; and the impact of SES incentive systems on the attitudes of senior executives and potential SES candidates. Each record contains six types of information reflecting the opinions and experiences of Federal executives: job satisfaction at current agency; organizational climate and relationships; employee selection and placement; prohibited practices; performance appraisal; and Senior Executive Service. Individual demographic and job data has been deleted.
