Distribution of Night of the Museums events by place and commune in Poland, 2025

The following data contains information on the 2025 Night of the Museums events in Poland. The data was collected from the websites and social media of local governments as well as other organizers, such as museums. In some cases, local and regional news portals were the source of the data. The dataset consists of two files. The first (places.csv) contains all cities in Poland which organized events during the Night of the Museums. It also includes those villages which organized events. In total, 593 cities and villages participated in the Night of the Museums. The file contains the number of events for each places as well as the date(s) on which the events occurred. A total of 2,162 events were organized. It also includes the links to the websites from which the data was collected. The second file (communes.csv) contains all communes (gminas in Polish) in Poland for which the number of events was aggregated. It also includes the population and number of hotel beds for each commune. Lastly, it contains two indicators, the number of events per 100,000 people and the number of events per 1,000 hotel beds.
