Maricopa County Voting Precincts (2008-2011)

Each voting precinct is used to summarize primary and general federal election voting results. In jurisdictional and presidential preference elections, voting precincts or parts of voting precincts are grouped together into consolidated precincts. In this dataset, there are 1,142 voting precincts which were approved by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on June 20th, 2007 and precleared by the Department of Justice on August 15th, 2007. This voting precinct file was initially used for elections in Spring 2008 up until and including the Spring 2012 elections.
