Czech data based historic strings (Historic cause of death coding and classification scheme for individual-level causes of death – Czech adaptation)

This file is a collection of historic strings based on the dataset: Databáze poslanců českých zemí 1848–1992 (© Ústav pro studium totalitních režimů, Masarykův ústav a archiv Akademie věd České republiky (AV ČR), v. v. i. a Univerzita Karlova, Přírodovědecká fakulta). The strings have been handled according to the ICD10h methodology by Reid, A. et al. (2024). The database includes phrases in Czech, German and Latin, all coded to already existing codes in the official List of Codes. Certain codes in German also have an added code from the article by Mühlinchen & Cilek (2024). The document specifications are provided in Czech, as they are a part of an output for a Czech-language thesis (Jindrová, A. 2026. Klasifikace příčin úmrtí na základě českých pramenů 19. stol. Vedoucí práce: Slováková, V. Univerzita Karlova, Přírodovědecká Fakulta, Katedra demografie a geodemografie.) A critical approach with the provided data is recommended, as this is the first attempt to work with Czech individual-level cause of death data in this way and needs further research. The data is not an official addition to the ICD10h Cause of Death Collection.
