Dataset for "Photo identification for sea turtles: Flipper scales more accurate than head scales using APHIS"

Photo ID database of 51 individuals, each with two complete sets of photos. All turtles were juveniles or sub-adults with straight carapace lengths (notch to notch) ranging from 23 to 61 cm (41 ± 1.2 cm; mean ± sd).
