Rats from sST2 knockout strain Jur7536-10300-DEL sST2 were subjected to transient middle artery occlusion. Three days after experimental stroke, brains were harvested and single cell suspensions generated. Cells were sorted to create microglia-enriched populations, which were analyzed using bulk RNAseq. Dataset includes samples from both homozygous knockout rats and wild type controls from the same strain.
