This dataset documents microclimate variations across different canopy layers of Camellia oleifera trees in Zhuzhou, as well as fruit development indicators for fruits in different canopy layers. The indicators include transverse diameter of developing fruits, fruit weight, and fruit index; for internal fruit quality traits, it covers soluble sugar content, protein content, as well as oil content and fatty acid composition in each canopy region.
