The dataset contains the measured values of the dynamic behavior and component damping of various additively manufactured test specimens. The test specimens contain internal particle-filled cavities that serve as particle dampers. The test specimens were additively manufactured from AlSi10Mg, whereby in some cases the unmelted powder material was replaced with tungsten powder and the cavity was closed with a small pin.
The test specimens are loaded on a shaker at a frequency of 2000 Hz and an acceleration of 600 mm/s². At the beginning and after 10^5, 10^6, 10^7, and 10^8 cycles, the damping is measured by exciting the samples with an impulse hammer and a force of 100 N. * damping_after_1E5_cycles.zip: Damping measured after 10^5 cycles

* damping_after_1E7_cycles.zip: The measured damping after 10^7 cycles
* damping_after_1E8_cycles.zip: The measured damping after 10^8 cycles
