The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny. <br>In this letter Jiryes Farhat writes to his son, Suleiman Farhat, describing the earthquake that hit Palestine in July 1927. Jiryes asks Suleiman to send money to repair their house and to pay for the land deeds to be passed into Suleiman's name. At this stage Suleiman and Katrina Sa'ade were married and living in California, US. <br>These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
