In this study, we used RNA sequencing to interrogate which aspects of circadian gene expression in skeletal muscle are autonomous or require clocks in other tissues Overall design: WT, KO and skeletal muscle Bmal1 reconstituted mice ( see Koronowski et al Cell 2019 and Greco et al Science Advances 2021 for general model description) were used to collect tissues at 6 time points over the diurnal cycle - 12 hr light: 12 hr dark conditions and ad libitum feeding of normal chow; tissues harvested at ZT0, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20
