Dataset from the Systematic Literature Review on Building Energy Flexibility (2019 to 2024)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the publication Building Energy Flexibility: A Systematic Literature Review, which analyses methodological trends and research gaps in the field of energy flexibility in buildings. The dataset comprises a structured table that contains detailed information extracted from 191 peer-reviewed studies published between 2019 and 2024. Each record corresponds to a single scientific publication and captures descriptive metadata, categories of applied energy flexibility approaches, system scale, building typology, model characteristics, input and output parameters, flexibility metrics, algorithms, and technological tools used. The dataset is organised to allow comparative analysis, reproducibility of the review process, and further exploration of correlations and trends in flexible energy systems. The table is provided in XLSX format, which includes filtering and categorisation columns for user-friendly navigation. It enables researchers to perform targeted searches, such as by model type, strategy deployment, data resolution, district-level flexibility, or application of storage and demand response. This dataset can be used for: Meta-analysis of modelling techniques in energy flexibility Benchmarking flexibility indicators across building types Evaluating temporal and spatial resolutions used in flexibility studies Identifying underrepresented research domains, such as public buildings or district-scale flexibility Supporting future reviews and methodological frameworks in demand-side energy management All records were systematically collected following the PRISMA methodology and evaluated based on defined inclusion and quality criteria, which ensures transparent and replicable review results. The dataset is intended for researchers, analysts, policymakers, energy system designers, and developers of building energy management systems who aim to design flexible building stock and resilient urban energy systems. File format: Excel (.xlsx)Total records: 191 publicationsTime range: 2019 to 2024Developed within the context of building energy flexibility research at the GATE Institute
