Three horizontal polarization MLs at 15, 18 and 23 GHz are applied for studying the potential of sensing the water vapor in Jiangyin, China from March 26 to April 20, 2019. The attenuation signal can be measured by the ML with the measurement resolution of 0.1dB and the sample time of 1 minute. Meanwhile, three hydrological gauges are installed near the MLs, which can measure the water vapor density (resolution: 1 g/m3) and the rainfall depth (resolution: 0.5 mm) with 5-minute sample time.

2019年3月26日至4月20日,在中国江阴地区,研究人员采用3台工作于15、18和23 GHz频段的水平极化微波链路(Microwave Link, ML)开展水汽遥感潜力研究。该微波链路可测量衰减信号,其测量分辨率为0.1dB,采样间隔为1分钟。与此同时,在上述微波链路附近布设了3台水文测站,可分别测量水汽密度(分辨率:1 g/m³)与降雨深度(分辨率:0.5 mm),采样间隔为5分钟。
