RNA was extracted from homogenates (HOM) and synapses (SYN) of mice on days 1, 6, and 20 after Morris water maze (MWM) training. Regular RNA sequencing was performed using the NovaSeq 6000 system (Illumina). Our protocol yielded reliable input for SYN using hippocampal RNA from ten mice. In contrast, we generated input libraries for HOM using hippocampal RNA from three mice per three biological replicates Overall design: RNA-seq profiling of mRNA in hippocampus tissues (homogenates or synapse)
