Axenic AX2 Dictyostelium cells were transfected with a vector expressing the F-actin marker Lifeact-mRFP (red) and the PIP3 marker GFP-PH-CRAC (green). Transfected cells were incubated overnight in LoFlo medium to reduce autofluorescence. Cells were transferred to an acid-washed glass-bottom dish and imaged on a confocal laser scanning microscope. The following channels were collected:
