This data set contains the raw data files as well as the analysis code used to produce all the experimental plots in the PhD thesis 'Faster control or longer lifetimes: Expanding the toolbox for electron and nuclear spin dynamics in on-surface atoms' by Evert W. Stolte under supervision of prof. Sander Otte at the TU Delft.
It contains measurements done with a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) on individual titanium atoms adsorbed on MgO thin films on top of Ag(100). Using an arbitrary waveform generator, time-dependent voltage signals in the GHz frequency range are applied to control and probe the dynamics of the magnetic state of the individual atoms. In this thesis, we probe both electron and nuclear spin dynamics.
The dataset is ordered by chapter that contains experimental data.
