To gain insight into the transcription programs activated during organogenesis of Drosophila larval structures, we carried out single cell RNA sequencing during two periods of Drosophila embryogenesis: stages 10 â 12, when most organs are first specified and initiate morphological and physiological specialization, and stages 13 â 16, when organs have achieved their final mature architectures and are beginning to function. Overall design: Two sets of biological replicates for stage 10-12 wild type (Oregon R) Drosophila melanogaster embryos and two sets of biological replicates for stage 13-16 wild type (Oregon R) Drosophila melanogaster embryos were collected, dissociated into single cells, and ran through 10X scRNA-seq pipeline.
