This series comprises orders which were designed to take effect when certain specified events occurred, eg. invasion, or the authorities indicated that certain actions were to be initiated. The purpose of the War Book was to eliminate the necessity for discussion or planning, etc., or any delays in regard to actions, necessitated by contingencies referred to in the book. Each government department was required to prepare and hold its own state war book - action details for these purposes. (5/1205). 1 vol.
